This week in Art, I have finally set in stone the entirety of the theme/kaupapa or sorts. with the obviously planning from the beforehand blog post, I'm going to most of the ideas and expand on them. the theme I'm going with is about after death before and after, and the process of decals with gashes of red blurring out pieces of the work.

Classics Visual interpretation of a myth
Chosen Myth: Hades and Persophone
In Classics, I have been slowly developing a visual presentation with a friend of mine. We have decided to make a mini-comic of their story and have split a script in half. (which was developed by Tia).

Art :Portfolio ideas, constructing and planing
What are my ideas you may be wondering?
Well, to word it in a few sentences it's about the time after death at the brim of life and death and the afterlife. basically the aspects and mixture of decomposition suffrage in stages. these would be accompanied by fungi or growth that appear alongside decomposition. (with some greeks styled humans)
Some colours I would use or rather shades and styles I would use...
A Monotone theme, for the backgrounds, and the dead lifeless subject matter. (that is dead or never was alive)
For the subject matter that is alive, I would use many greens to empathize with death and this would also relate to some polar opposites such as "after death there is life." etc.
Here is one of the pieces for the previous week that can tie into angelic being I might consider adding some biblically accurate angel references into the mix.
The subject matter in this singular piece is a wing that links back to my ideas and concepts before. The type of painting style I guess is kind of a mixture of light flicking and stroke of a small brush with some diluting of the white paint to give it more dimension.
