SOST - Ta Moko

In social studies, we are learning about Maori tattoos, and our task was to draw a design of a template or on a plain bit of paper to draw a person with traditional tattoos. There is mine below there is no actual definition for the tattoos I just doodled something up that is similar. Sorr that the eyes are not even I cannot drow Parrell eyes. I learned that more tattoos can tell a story about their life.

  1. Fantastic work Tyra. I would have liked a slightly closer picture of your image so we could see your design a little easier. Can you give an explanation of what a ta moko is? Or give some examples of what ta moko can represent about a person?
