What is a circuit? A circuit is path electricity flows along. it starts at a battery and flows through a copper wire to a light bulb or other object as it would flow through the other side of the battery/power source. the difference between series and parallel is the flow of electricity. as in a parallel circuit the electricity only goes on the way but in a series circuit, the electricity splits ups and passes the multiple points instead of one.
Show parallel + series circuit with 2 batteries 2 bulbs and a switch.
What is voltage? how does it differ in series vs parallel? a voltage is the pressure of an electrical circuit's power source that pushes the charged electrons through a current.
What is current? how does it vary in series and parallel? Current is the rate of the flow of an electric charge passing a point or region.
