Senior Reflection Blog

Art :Portfolio ideas, constructing of board 1 & current progress
In Art, I have been steadily constructing, and practising skills to give my pieces some more monochrome flare, on the plan below shows my current progress and how far I've gotten. I have a rough idea for the rest of the pieces already and have noted them down on the plan on which each piece/series is going to be about.
here are the first four pieces of my first partially finished series of the board (I just need to alter them a bit anatomy-wise and to find the last one of this series. (for more a realistic feel)) - these designs are not finalised for the portfolio they will be altered to be up to date with my current style.

Art: Portfolio foundation progress - thumbnail sketches
This week in Art, I have finally set in stone the entirety of the theme/kaupapa or sorts. with the obviously planning from the beforehand blog post, I'm going to most of the ideas and expand on them. the theme I'm going with is about after death before and after, and the process of decals with gashes of red blurring out pieces of the work.

Art reflection: Lino print
In art overall, I believe I did pretty good at drawing up the bird the saddleback and
tracing it onto the bit of lino. The result of things printing was a bit off on the second
and third times. It wasn't too bad. It was ok with the results of them. Hopefully,
in semester 2 I can do better in art. And be more creative.
