EOTC Week

On Thursday apart of EOTC week. My class went to Sumner and learnt how to surf and body board the seas murky waters were filled with seaweed, and the water did not tasted that nice.

So on Friday. My class went to Adrenalin forest and Spencer park. we split into two groups. I was in the group that went to Spencer park because we could not go all at once other wise it would of been cluttered and squished between all of us. We spent half of the school time there. We had our morning tea and lunch.

The next week on Monday was  sailing but it was canceled due of rain all day.

So on Tuesday my class did Mega air in the morning it was really fun

Dear Future Me

By the time you read this many years will have passed...  In fact you will be turning 25 years old.  This is a little reminder of what your goals, dreams and aspirations were as an 10 year old.

You’ll study in university and, learn about how to inventor new the and using your creativity.  Your Dream job  is to be Inventor, and  invent new things like…  using your creativity  is to use it to create new things… hover boards  for racing, new model of ship that can fly to many different planets & Galaxies that are out there and other things.

 3 places that you would wanted to go in the world, or outer space, to go see the Egyptian writing and the great big pyramids in Cairo.  The Eiffel tower in Paris. And.. American space station.

Then I you just live in a 2 story building and live in Christchurch.  You might have someone living with me.

Final Draft of My recount of My Family Reunion

This is My Recount about The Family reunion
Family Reunion

Week 2 on Saturday, at 3 pm.  Most of the family and I, and family members  from Australia, came down for the family reunion at my grandads house.

One of my great Aunts said, “ you can decorate these four chocolate cakes with some Australian chocolate". When everyone else arrived, my grandad started cooking a big steak on the BBQ, my nana started cooking the sausages in the oven. Then  my sister, auntie and I had pistachio eating  contest then my auntie gave up, then my sister gave up then I won the contest.

Mikayla and I ate some strawberries, She picked up a gross looking one, She chucked into the bin. We both ate pineapple. The meat was hot we had to wait for a bit until it had cooled down. Me, my cousins and my sister decorated four cakes for my mum's birthday on Sunday and My Aunties birthday that was on the family reunion day. Mikayla and my older cuzzin Jordana, Kody, my sister and I, kaley played sing of dance off. My cuzzin Kody, my sister Kaley were the Judges.

It was time to have dinner then we ate. Then it was for my cousins, my sister to decorate the cakes, we got one cake each to decorate. I put Australian chocolate koalas, and kangaroos shaped chocolates and licorice allsorts, pineapple lumps, marshmallows, Party mix. I put sparkling candles on the cake, then we sung happy birthday to my great aunt and my mum.

We ate the delicious chocolate cake, I felt like I couldn't fit it in another piece of cake in.

We stayed there nearly at 9 o'clock at night. After that most of us left and went home. My mum got a whole chocolate cake to take home.

The Earth's Future Disaster First Draft

In 1961. In America. Tiki is my Trainer and he's trained me to go to space in a rocket, but I  kept saying that i’m not ready but I’m going, but Tiki told me that  “you are ready to do this.”

Now I'm in the rocket the last thing that I heard was, “see ya in 65 years.”

“But, but you said 5 years” Crrr

“I, I know I just forgot the 6, crr at the front of the 5 Kita.” it's time for the countdown, are you ready?”

“ Yes I am!”

“10, 9 ohm... 5 2 1 Blast off!”

“ I repeat, i'm going through the earth's atmosphere now.”  crrr

“What was that?”

“I'm going through the earth's atmosphere now!” crrr

“What was that?”

“Never mind,”  beep!

I was sent to space to destroy an asteroid. I couldn't find the asteroid I repeat I looking for it but I cant find it, beep beep beep Kita It's to crr late. “ noooooooo!”I'm looking up at the bright glistening bright light from the stars, the brightness and it hurted my eyes. There's no way i’m gonna yawn  zzzzzzzzz…

65 years later…  

In 2026 yawn.

I could see the earth in the distance, I smiled with glee and joy. I’m getting pulled into the atmosphere I repeat Crrr I don’t think they can hear me. I going down, the shuttle is burning like fire, the  parachute pops out. I don't think I going to do a perfect landing, ahh! I’m going to die ahhhhhhh! Bang! I hit the ground.

When I opened the shuttle door I saw a desace, what have I done to America? I didn’t stop the asteroid that was the america is destroyed. “It's all my fault”. I have tears down my wrinkly cheeks. I looked down at the ground. I kneeled down with tears.

Terra firma!  

When I opened the shuttle door I saw a disaster. what have I done to America? I didn’t stop the asteroid, now america is destroyed. “It's all my fault!”  I screamed out loud.

Then I looked up I saw a ship in the air, I’ve never seen before, then it landed with a thud! It had greens and purples on it. “ Cool I wonder who's in it?”The the door opens with a creek and...  a small fluffy alien comes out with ears with light brown stripes on it’s ears  and with

caramel colored fur. “Ohh she looks so cute.” the deep voice says” I am not a girl!”

Oh  I I didn’t know that you were a boy I'm so so sorry.”

“Oh you Just made me angry.” “Now I'm Going to kill you with Mr Zurkon a family"

"Oh. Mr Zurkon is machine."

“No, No, He is my robot friend hes likes a pain bot.”

"Time to kill time to die time to shoot you in the eye!"

Bang! Bang!

"holey moley you nearly hit me

“Now Mr Zurkons going to kill you.”

“Noooooo!”

Bang! bang! bang!

"Good Try Mr zurkon, you'll will get the monkey next time"

“Ahhhhhhhhhh!”

I am running and running

I kept running I hand nearly ran out of breath

Then I made a jump for it over the bush.

BOOM!

I woke up with a startle, and I saw out outside of the window, blistering winds that swept through the midnight skies. Then I realized that, It was Just a dream.....

W.A.L.T recall  events through the eyes of an animal. Success Criteria I know I will be successful when my recount has a Title Orientation:  When? Who? Where? Why? Sequence of events:  What happened? Describe using the senses (hear, taste, see, smell and feel). Personal Comment:  How did the events make you feel? Second draft Terrible Day It was a peaceful day in the Savanna. I woke up from sunbathing with the pride. Then I had a bath in the long straw grass. I heard the peaceful birds chirping in the dry, wrinkly trees. The pride and I were getting ready to strike. I peaked over the long lurky grass. I could see a herd of buffaloes one by one going around the river bank.  I just stared at the herd of buffaloes. I was slobbering on the dry spiky grass. I could feel the sharpness in the pointy leather grass. I could hear the cicadas whistling in the wind. Then I started to crouch on my paws. I pounced! I’m off in a dash with the pride. I targeted the buffalo calf, I was getting closer and closer. SPLASH! Went the calf into the mucky waters. I took a mouthful of dirty water and it tasted of mud.  I felt like a rope about to snap.  I used my claws to try to pull the calf up on the slippery river bank.  Then….came along a croc and he looked very hungry, and he tried to steal the calf off me. The pride helped me pull the calf out of the water, so the calf wasn't lunch for the croc. The croc weakened, and he let go of the calf, out of the water from the croc. The pride and I felt heavy footsteps coming towards us. Then buffaloes started to surround us, but I escaped the herd of buffaloes. A buffalo started to chase after me. Ahhhhh! I could feel the pain inside of me, my heart was pounding, I felt like a machine that's about to explode. Then I stopped in my tracks and watched them beaten by the buffaloes, wasted at the battlefield, that was paradise for me.  I fainted. I couldn't see a thing. It felt like I had fallen in a black hole. I could smell what was once there. I ran as fast as I could to get away  from this war zone that was once a paradise. I never stopped running for my life. I’d slipped on the muddy grass in the autumn rains, mud all over my coat that was once smooth.

Chapter 2 I founded shelter under a wrinkly tree that's coming to life again from the autumn falls. The sun was shining brightly in the Savannah and did not knew where I was. I’m lost I did not recognize anything I was somewhere else that I didn't know the I saw a different pride then I’d recognize some body called Snapo. I used to play with him when I was little. 2 People Talk (Act out) I tried to go up to them .then tried to attack me. I said Sharsh: “it’s me!” “Who?” Sharsh: “Remember we used to play with each other when we were young.” Snapo: “ Is it really you?” Sharsh: “Yes it is me!” Snapo: “Oh my goodness, Sharsh it’s really you?” Sharsh: “Yes”    Snapo:   “Sharsh!” Sharsh:   “Snapo!” Snapo “I’d missed you. But where is the pride?” Sharsh: "They died." Snapo: "That's terrible."`
